Arrive in Sri Lanka and head to Kalpitiya. Check into your hotel and relax after your flight. Take an immediate excursion out to sea the next morning, where you will take part in one of the famous activities of this city. Explore the deep ocean where dolphin pods gracefully swim beneath the surface and have the chance to see them breach the ocean surface.
Head out to Wilpattu, famous for being one of the largest and oldest national parks of Sri Lanka. Known for the ‘Willus’ which are depressions in the land which form natural watering holes. There are currently over 60 such Willus formed in this park. Visit and see the various wildlife which thrive off these.
To see the unofficial eighth wonder of the world, visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Climb this breathtaking fortress and see the stunning views and marvellous frescoes. Take a safari through the Minneriya Park and come across the large herds of Asian Elephants which reside there. Visit the village and take a tour, taking note of the cultural differences and heritage of Sri Lanka.
Explore Kandy and the various sites and locations as you head to Ramboda. Be inspired by the colonial style architecture and the various modern and historical elements of the city.
Head to Nanu Oya where you can catch the train to Ella. Be enthralled by the beauty of the sights. Glistening waterfalls and green mountains with towns nestled among the trees are some of the vivid sights that you can see on this journey.
On the morning of day 8, head to the renowned Nine Arches Bridge. See the picturesque views and take some pictures to remember the moment. Climb Little Adam’s Peak and see the Ella Gap.
